About the project
In this project, we plant trees together with children as part of an educational programme.
This project focuses on connecting children with nature and providing them with meaningful experiences in natural environments. Various daycare centres and elementary schools are carefully selected to participate in this initiative. The project involves a day-long educational programme during which children are guided in planting trees and nurturing them. A combination of educational professionals and gardeners work alongside the children to ensure the successful planting of a specified number of trees. The progress of the project is documented continuously, allowing children to observe and appreciate the growth of the trees at regular intervals.
This project combines the realms of environmental conservation and social welfare. By planting trees, we actively contribute to the preservation of nature. Moreover, we incorporate elements of (elementary) pedagogical activities and experiential education to familiarise children with nature and support their overall development.
To carry out this project, we required funds amounting to approximately €4,000. We partnered with Nowak Nursery, a renowned tree cultivation specialist with extensive experience in this field. The educational activities involved in the project were carried out on a voluntary basis, supported either by the government or relevant sponsors.
